Well its been way too long since I posted on here, but better late than never. While the past year has been challenging (let's be honest, it sucked), I've been very fortunate to be in an industry that has prevailed. I thank my lucky stars everyday that I don't own a restaurant or an airline or work in any other industry that Covid has completely annihilated. Here we are in March of 2021 and things are finally starting to look up. There is even talk now of a "normal" summer. I can't tell you how thrilled I'll be to not have to work with clients in a godforsaken mask (though we're obviously sticking with them until Dr Henry tells us otherwise).

Anyway, in the interest of ever striving to take my work to the next level, I've made a couple of major investments in some new equipment. Including the Canon 85mm f1.4L IS lens (which I have dreamed about owning since it was released in 2017). This thing is beyond sharp and is simply the best lens of its kind out there. I love 85mm for anything portrait related as its not too long and not too short.

The next thing is a Dynalite 71" Parabolic softbox. Another exciting and unique way to light a face. The output is gorgeous if placed correctly.

And finally I've added a Manfrotto 12' windup stand so I can get heavy boomed rigs in the air without destroying my back (or needing a 2nd person to help me). As my lighting has gotten more sophisticated, this became an obvious necessity.

Im looking forward to a great year ahead. I'm confident 2021 will only get better as the months roll on.

Looking forward to seeing you in the studio!

Best wishes
