The summer flew by and it's been a record busy one. It seems like the fall will be no exception either.
Meanwhile the local and international news continues to be fairly depressing. From international conflict, to fires, to a covid situation that won't just go away already.
For the elephant in the room: vaccine passports. I will not be demanding them for entry into the studio (photo studios are exempt anyway). It's none of my business what you do with your body. I'm going to assume you probably are vaccinated as most people in the BC film industry seem to be on that page. I myself have been fully vaccinated since early summer and so are the makeup artists I work with. As a result we are simply moving on with business as usual as we have since July 1st (makeup artists will still be masked). I won't be going around initiating hand shakes for the time being, but otherwise my studio is a safe space from the political hysteria that this is devolving into. I think we're all ready to get on with our lives.
On a happier note, we've added a new lounge area, full size retro arcade cabinet with 2000 games, and a commercial popcorn cart to the studio all for client enjoyment (also for mine). I look forward to beating you in Street Fighter 2 ;)
Have a great fall season!
